Audio, video and subtitles
Selected files, decoded audio, transcripts and subtitle text are processed in the browser. They are not submitted to our transcription or storage server. Results are temporary; export them before leaving. The website does not offer cloud recovery of a closed task.
Network downloads and browser storage
Loading the site and public models uses network requests. The hosting provider and Hugging Face model host receive ordinary network information such as your IP address. Model files may be cached by your browser. Local storage remembers your theme and optional analytics preference, not your recordings or transcript. Clearing browser storage removes those preferences and may remove cached models.
Optional usage counts
When analytics is enabled for the site, it remains off until you allow it in the footer. It records a fixed page identifier, website language, event type and broad size, duration or processing buckets. It excludes filenames, audio, subtitle text, user identifiers, URL queries and referrer URLs. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control prevent sending these events.
Storage and control
The application database stores daily aggregate counts, not individual sessions or IP addresses. These totals remain until the operator removes them. You can turn future collection off using the same footer control. Aggregate counts cannot identify your previous events for individual retrieval. Hosting providers may maintain their own service logs under their policies.
