What can VTT to Text do?
A WebVTT file contains timed cues as well as optional notes, regions, and styling. This converter extracts cue text in source order and removes timing, cue identifiers, and common subtitle formatting. Notes and layout instructions are not transcript content. Keep the original VTT: the plain text export cannot restore its timing or visual layout.

Useful answers before you begin.
Does this transcribe audio?
No. It needs an existing subtitle file. Use Generate Subtitles to recognize speech from a video first.
Are repeated rolling captions merged?
No. Cue text stays in source order. If the source repeats words across cues, review and remove duplicates yourself.
Can I recover timestamps from TXT?
No. The export removes timing. Preserve the original VTT if you need captions later.
